GCIS was subcontracted to insulate the Chill Water supply & return lines to a new chiller unit on site. We allocated the resources to fabricate and install the new PIR insulation 2” thk. and Aluminium Jacketing for mechanical protection.

Project Challenges

The job involved a small work area and some minor set backs preventing prefabrication of the metal products.

Project Solution

GCIS arrived on site with the relevant manpower, fabricators and equipment to have site fabrication done so as to minimize any unnecessary delays. Additionally, ASJ facing was used over the PIR insulation to acts as a vapour barrier. The added benefits were mold and mildew resistance and a flame retardant features.
